Bobcats guard Raja Bell is hoping to return to the floor sooner rather than later.

Bell has a torn ligament in his left wrist.

If he opts for surgery, he'll miss four months of action. However, the Charlotte Observer is reporting that Bell is leaning towards the rest-and-rehabilitation route.

He is still waiting to hear from a Chicago hand specialist who is evaluating an MRI on the wrist. The doctor's advice should influence Bell's decision whether or not to have surgery.
