The Warriors are more focused than ever on trading Stephen Jackson.

With the drama growing, two players told Yahoo! Sports on Monday night that the sooner Jackson is gone the better.

"The Jax situation is a constant distraction," said one of Jackson's teammates.

"Once they trade him," another said, "it will clear up a lot of things."

Jackson first publicly asked for a trade in August and the latest development came on Sunday night when his agent, Mark Stevens, criticized Don Nelson's coaching abilities.

Not surprisingly, Jackson is ready as well.

"If it's soon, I'm ready," Jackson told Yahoo! "Can't do nothing but be ready. I asked for it as long as it's the right situation for me and it's not done out of spite. I've done a lot for this team and this organization and I hope the respect stays the same way. If it does happen, I hope it's somewhere where I want to be."
