With the score tied at 102 on Wednesday night, Flip Saunders gave Earl Boykins the ball as the Wizards' best shot to knock off the Bucks.

Boykins drained the clock, drew a foul and made both free throws.

"And the fans are chanting MVP for Earl," Saunders said with a chuckle. "He's been like that. If you look at the games we've won, he's finished games for us. He's just a unique player with the things he has the ability to do."

Boykins spent last season in Italy, just like his counterpart on Wednesday, Brandon Jennings.

Asked about the MVP chants, Boykins said, "I'm not into all that, honestly. I'm just happy to get a win. I'm happy the way my teammates responded."
