Bobcats point guard D.J. Augustin earned the first DNP-Coach's Decision of his career on Friday night against the Nets.

Charlotte coach Larry Brown explained what Augustin did to get in his doghouse.

"He hasn't defended like he needs to defend, he hasn't made shots, he hasn't distributed the ball," Brown said.

Augustin didn't play in Saturday's win over the 76ers either.

He is averaging 5.7 points and 2.2 assists in 19.6 minutes per game this season.
