Philadelphia forward Elton Brand is starting to express his frustration more and more.

Brand complained about the team getting off to slow starts. The 76ers have trailed by double-digits in the first half in each of their last four games.

Coach Eddie Jordan has had Brand coming off the bench in all those contests.

"It's happening every night," said Brand of the slow starts. "We have to fight and claw back to get a lead. It's tough playing like that."

Brand also mentioned what he perceives as Jordan playing "certain guys" despite having said player(s) who don't "box out, rebound and weren't tough."

"Certain guys got a longer leash than others, so they played longer and the mistakes were shown," he added. "No one should be on a long leash if you don't box out, don't rebound or play 'D'. You shouldn't be out there."

Brand appeared to be referring to forward Marreese Speights.

Four days earlier after tipping in a missed Speights shot to stun the Celtics, Brand told reporters that when "Speights got the ball you knew he wasn't going to pass. He doesn't pass."
