Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko would like to re-sign with the club when he hits the free agent market in 2011.

In addition, he's now saying that a return to Europe will only be a last resort. Not all that long ago, Kirilenko hinted that he was looking for a way out of his lucrative contract in Utah to return home.

"Getting back to Europe is definitely my last choice," he said Friday. "Because the level of the basketball is really different than here, and you want to play at the best level as possible as long as you can."

Kirilenko wants to remain loyal to the Jazz, but hinted that he expects to receive interest from the Nets, who will soon be owned by Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov.

"It's tough to say," Kirilenko said of potential pursuit. "I'm pretty sure if I was a Russian owner I would be interested to get a Russian player."
