Bucks rookie guard Brandon Jennings had a productive weekend after a lengthy slump.

While some rookies have begun to slow down, Jennings is still full of energy, something he attributes to his year as a professional in Italy.

"I was a pro last year," Jennings said. "I feel like this is my second year being a professional athlete.

"It (playing at Lottomatica Virtus Roma) just got me mentally ready and right now toward the end of the season most rookies get tired. Right now, I'm playing for something bigger."

Jennings has been shooting poorly, but Milwaukee coach Scott Skiles says that his defense has improved.

"He's gotten better pressure of the ball, better understanding of the angles and where he has to be to cut somebody off," Skiles said.
