The Magic didn't practice on Tuesday and Wednesday as they waited for the Eastern Conference semifinal series between the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers to conclude.

If Boston wins Game 6 on Thursday at home, the Magic and Celtics will begin the Eastern Conference finals on Sunday. Five full days will have elapsed between Magic playoff games.

If Cleveland wins Thursday, the East finals will begin Tuesday. Seven full days will have elapsed between Magic playoff games.

"It's always one of those fine lines, because you worry how guys come out to play, particularly in that first five minutes of Game 1," Vince Carter said. "I think we handled that well and I think from there on I felt great from the time off. We didn't have to go the seven games, and I think it's beneficial for us. But, regardless if we have to, I think we're just playing great basketball. We're playing for each other. We're locked in."

The Magic are scheduled to practice on Thursday.
