Suns forward Amar'e Stoudemire doesn't regret calling Lakers forward Lamar Odom "lucky" in the wake of his Game 1 performance.

Stoudemire said Odom's 19 points and 19 rebounds in L.A.'s victory over Phoenix on Monday night was a "lucky game."

"Nah, I'm gonna always be myself. That's just my character," he said when asked if he regretted the remarks. "It's just what I was feeling."

Suns coach Alvin Gentry tried to downplay Stoudemire's remarks.

"I said, 'Listen, let's hope that we have a lot of lucky guys today,' " Gentry joked. "Nineteen points and 19 rebounds is not a lucky night. We know that. It's just ... I don't know what it is.

"We're not a team that talks, we want to be seen and not heard. The only thing I'm interested in is how we perform on the floor."
