It appears as though the Twitter account of Celtics forward Paul Pierce was hacked shortly after Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Tuesday night.

Pierce's verified Twitter account displayed a message that read "Anybody got a BROOM?" after Boston took a 2-0 lead over Orlando in the series.

The message has since been deleted.

"Hacked in game and post game while on podium [for postgame press conference]. Disregard chatter," Pierce wrote on Wednesday.

Athlete Interactive, the company that manages Pierce's digital media, also tweeted after the game that his account was hacked.
