Celtics coach Doc Rivers wasn't pleased with some of the remarks made by Paul Pierce after the team's Game 2 win over the Magic.

Pierce has denied that he made comments referring to brooms on his Twitter page, but he did tell Celtics fans, "We're coming home to close it out" in his postgame interview with ESPN.

"I don't like it," Rivers said. "I don't mind the confidence part, that's good, you gotta have confidence. But we want to be humble; we haven't achieved anything. I think that's what he was trying to say, just came out at the end. I wish they had taken the mic away after the last couple of word. Up until then, he was pretty good. We do have to go home and our fans will help us, but we gotta do it on the floor."

Rivers said he didn't talk to Pierce individually about the comments, but he did address the team about overconfidence.
