The NBA suspended three players a total of eight games on Friday.

Pacers guard Brandon Rush was suspended five games by violating the league's drug agreement, while Tyreke Evans of the Kings and Kenny Hasbrouck of the Heat drew suspensions for driving offenses.

"We have been made aware that Brandon Rush has been suspended for violating the NBA's anti-drug policy," Pacers president Larry Bird said in a statement. "We will do what we can to provide Brandon help going forward."

Evans received a one game suspension, while Hasbrouck will have to sit out for two contests.
