Wizards rookie guard John Wall didn't disappoint in his preseason debut, posting 21 points and nine assists as Washington defeated Dallas.

"He's going to be great," Gilbert Arenas said. "He has a knack for finding people and getting to the basket. ... He's Batman, I'm Robin."

The Wizards topped the Mavericks 97-94 on Tuesday night, thanks in part in a go-ahead three-pointer by Lester Hudson with 2.5 seconds remaining.

"Overall, John kind of led us," coach Flip Saunders said. "He's got unbelievable speed, makes good decisions, ends up with nine assists and only two turnovers."
