Stephane Lasme is putting pressure on Von Wafer and Mario West for the final slot on Boston's roster.

"He's been a guy that's been surprisingly playing well in camp," Paul Pierce told CSNNE.com. "He came out of nowhere."

As a senior, he was the Atlantic 10's player of the Year and Defensive player of the Year, and was drafted in the second round of the 2007 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors.

"I like him a lot," Celtics coach Doc Rivers said of Lasme. "He just does everything. He's energy. He has a high basketball I.Q. He's probably our most athletic player, him or Rondo. He has a great shot at making our team."
