Lakers center Andrew Bynum is planning to return to the court on Dec. 14 when the team faces the Wizards.

He has missed every game this season while recovering from surgery on his right knee.

Bynum has participated in five-on-five scrimmages at practice in recent days and said he feels "no residual effects. No swelling, no pain."

His return will allow Pau Gasol to play fewer minutes and move back to his natural position of power forward.
