Seton Hall guard Jeremy Hazell, who has been out since Nov. 19 with a broken bone in his left wrist and who suffered a gunshot wound in an attempted mugging on Christmas Day, is healing well from both injuries.

Hazell will have the wrist evaluated by a doctor on Jan. 10.

"Jeremy's doing terrific," Seton Hall coach Kevin Willard said. "Obviously he had a very serious incident on Christmas but is recovering well from that physically. Mentally he's doing OK -- he's taking some time off just to kind of relax a little bit."

Hazell was shot once, in the right armpit, while walking home from a Christmas party in Harlem.
