Curtis Stinson of the Iowa Energy was today named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played during the week of Jan. 17.

Stinson, a 6-3, 215-pound guard out of Iowa State who played in the 2010 NBA Summer League with the Orlando Magic and Toronto Raptors, led the Energy to a 2-0 record on the week, averaging 25.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 9.0 assists and 3.5 steals.

In Iowa’s 100-98 victory over Reno on Saturday, Stinson recorded 22 points, six rebounds, nine assists and five steals. On Sunday, Stinson scored a team-high 29 points to go along with five rebounds and nine assists, leading the Energy to a 107-102 win over the Bighorns to complete the weekend sweep.
