The Knicks are reportedly having conversations with the Nuggets and Wolves on Carmelo Anthony.

"I don't think we have anything going, but we're getting a feeling for possibilities," Knicks president Donnie Walsh said on Sunday. "We have a better feeling for what's going to happen."

The Knicks are trying to negotiate a deal for Anthony that wouldn't include Landry Fields and/or Danilo Gallinari.

"Denver doesn't have much of a choice," said one Knicks source. "Carmelo has told them since the summer that he wants to end up in New York."

"I don't feel good or bad," Walsh said. "These things take two to tango. But we're out there looking and seeing if we can do something. Some of it is not real big, trying to fill in the blanks within our own team."
