Gilbert Arenas was held scoreless in Orlando's loss to Boston on Sunday afternoon.

His ability to score will have a significant impact on whether or not the Magic are able to advance deep into the playoffs.

"We know, I know, they brought us here for a reason," Arenas said. "Dwight [Howard] understands that ... it's going to take some time."

Orlando traded for Arenas and Hedo Turkoglu on Dec. 19 and the Magic have enjoyed a nine-game winning streak since then.

"He's struggling to fit in and has to change his game, because the old Gilbert is not coming back," one Eastern Conference executive said.

Sources have said for months that Howard will want to leave the Magic for New York or Los Angeles if the Magic are unable to win a title before he becomes a free agent.
