The Nets are still shopping Troy Murphy and remain confident that they'll be able to trade him prior to the Feb. 24 deadline.

"Obviously, you know, I'm very focused on Troy," general manager Billy King told the YES Network. "I feel bad for Troy in this situation, but I think something will come before the deadline."

Murphy's $12 million salary comes off the books at the end of the season, which could make him attractive to a contending team.

There have been reports that a buyout is more likely than a trade.
