Knicks owner James Dolan opened up Wednesday's press conference introducing Carmelo Anthony by denying a number of team-related rumors.

After thanking New York's new and old players, Dolan denied rumors that the team's front office was split on the trade.

"The idea that we were not in agreement is completely untrue," Dolan said of reported disagreements between coach Mike D'Antoni, president Donne Walsh and the owner himself.

He went onto deny that Isiah Thomas had any involvement in the trade.

"While Isiah Thomas is a good friend of mine, a very good friend of mine, he was not at all involved in this process," he said at the podium.

Dolan also said that he and Walsh agreed to sit down and discuss Walsh's contract with the Knicks after the trade deadline.  The Knicks hold a one-year option for Walsh to return next season.
