Casper Ware of Long Beach State has been named Big West Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year for the 10-11 season.

Andre Hardy of Cal State Fullerton was Big West Newcomer of the Year, while Maliik Love (Cal Poly) and Josh Ritchart (UC Davis) shared Freshman of the Year honors.

Joining Ware on the All-Big West First Team are teammate Larry Anderson, Lenny Daniel (Cal State Northridge), Orlando Johnson (UC Santa Barbara), Shawn Lewis (Cal Poly) and Sam Willard (Pacific).

On the All-Big West Second Team are Javon Borum (UC Riverside), David Hanson (Cal Poly), Rashaun McLemore (Cal State Northridge), Darren Moore (UC Irvine), T.J. Robinson (Long Beach State).
