The Rockets have had all but one of their previous nine games as part of a back-to-back, which has only allowed them to practice twice since the All-Star break.

Goran Dragic only has one practice with the team.

"Those practices are definitely going to help," forward Chase Budinger said. "The new guys still don't know the offense, the way that we play. This will give them a chance to get a few more days under their belt and get ready. Rest is always good, too. At this point, we'll take as many rest days as we can.

"We only have 16 games left, so six games are very important for us. This is the make-or-break time for us. We've got to go home and win as many games as we can."
