Marquette coach Buzz Williams sees plenty of similarities between Uconn’s Kemba Walker and Xavier’s Tu Holliday.

"I think relative to what he means to the success of their team, he's exactly the same," said Williams. "I think Holloway is faster than Kemba Walker. I think Holloway understands how to use a ball screen more so than Kemba Walker, because that's all they do.

"And I think, relative to their pugnacity, they're very similar."

11th-seeded Marquette will face sixth-seeded Xavier in a second-round NCAA Tournament game Friday at Quicken Loans Arena.

"Literally, he's going to get at least one ball screen per possession," said Williams. "Even in transition, early in the possession, they're going to set one for him. And then, if that doesn't work, they'll set another one for him."

Holloway was named the Atlantic 10 player of the year after averaging 20.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game to go along with a team-high 59 three-pointers - numbers that stack up favorably to Walker's, although the Big East is a better conference.
