North Carolina forward John Henson blocked 109 shots this season.

In order for the Huskies to pull the upset, they’ll have to prevent Henson from asserting himself under the basket.

“A lot of great shot blockers usually block the shots of somebody else who has gotten beat,” coach Roy Williams said. “John is one of those few guys that can block that shot but can also block the shot of the guy he was initially guarding.”

Washington’s Matthew Bryan-Amaning hopes to neutralize Henson.

“Just got to be physical with a guy like that,” he said. “Try to just close that gap, be physical with him on both ends of the floor, and get your body into him so it’s more difficult so he’s leaning back and won’t be able to block as many shots.”
