Richard Hamilton has played his best basketball in some time since working his way back into the starting lineup for the Detroit Pistons.

His scoring numbers are up. He is shooting the ball well. His turnover numbers, for the most part, are down. But the most impressive thing about his recent play is his energy on the court on both ends of the floor.

Hamilton struggled at times throughout the season and ended up on the bench for a long spell. But he and Kuester cleared the air during a meeting late in February, and Hamilton has played well since returning to the starting lineup on March 1.

"We just went through a period of time where we didn't talk," Hamilton said. "And I think the lack of communication kind of put everybody on pins and needles. It was important that we came together knowing where both of us stand."
