Dwyane Wade went to the locker room early in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Nets. He was diagnosed with a right lateral thigh contusion.

Wade returned to shoot at halftime and then took the court with the starters at the start of the third quarter.

"I don't know if I should have or not, but I did," Wade said. "I just went and gutted it out, but it didn't get better at any point.

"I just wanted to play basketball, one leg or not."

Wade said his thigh tightened up on him and he would not rule out missing time this coming week. Miami's next game is Wednesday against Milwaukee.
