Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah have only played together 23 times in 76 games, and have a record of 18-5.

Boozer seems to do better offensively when Noah’s off the floor and Noah has seemed to be more productive when Boozer has been out.

‘‘That’s a myth,’’ head coach Tom Thibodeau said. ‘‘When you study the statistics, it’s very similar. There’s not much of a difference. I don’t think that’s been an issue. Jo and Carlos complement each other very well.’’

‘‘It’s totally different when they’re both in the lineup,’’ point guard Derrick Rose said. ‘‘You have to play to both of their strengths. Jo’s is running. Booz’s is more of a halfcourt game. When they’re both healthy, we’re definitely a [more] dangerous team.’’
