There have been seven consecutive Heat regular-season losses in Boston, with the three in last season's playoffs extending the overall losing streak at TD Garden to 10.

So when Dwyane Wade was asked after Thursday's practice at AmericanAirlines Arena about having the upper hand, the Heat guard slapped aside the notion.

"First of all, this series is just starting," he said. "We did nothing but take care of business at home. We've got to find a way to go up there to a place that I haven't won in a long time, regular season, playoffs, whatever, a place that a lot of people don't win in the playoffs, and try to figure out a way to go up there and get this game."

The last time the Heat defeated the Celtics with Wade in the lineup was the Heat's first visit to Boston in 2006-07, when he opened in a backcourt alongside Gary Payton.
