Timberwolves president of basketball operations David Kahn has yet to inform coach Kurt Rambis if he'll keep his job, but Kahn appears to be taking steps to find a replacement.

Philadelphia 76ers assistant Quin Snyder has been interviewed by Kahn, an NBA coach with knowledge of the situation said Monday night.

Snyder, 45, just completed his first season as an assistant to Sixers coach Doug Collins and has been a head coach at Missouri and for the Austin Toros in the NBA Development League from 2007-10.

Kahn, who hired Snyder to coach the Toros, was unavailable for comment, and a Rambis representative said Monday evening that there had been no communication from Kahn or Wolves owner Glen Taylor regarding Rambis' status.
