Connecticut improved to 3-0 with an 80-60 win over Maine on Thursday, but Jim Calhoun feels far from comfortable with his team.

"I think I have a lot of things to worry about," Calhoun said.

"I just haven't seen the enthusiasm with the particular group," Calhoun said, "which is surprising to me, particularly when we have eight kids back from a team that had the ultimate experience of success last year. … We don't know who we are yet."

Connecticut struggled against Maine's zone defense and held just a 36-31 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Calhoun had the Huskies play "full speed offense."

"Coach said he wanted us to run, to play full speed," said Jeremy Lamb, who scored four points in the first half, 12 in the second to finish with 16.
