There is a sense of promise at Stanford around the talent that Johnny Dawkins has recruited.

The team rebounded from its loss to Syracuse last week in the NIT by blowing out Pacific by a final score of 79-37 on Monday.

"That was a tough game to lose on that kind of stage," freshman Chasson Randle said. "We use that as motivation every day in practice."

Randle scored 14 points, making all five of his field goals.

"I was just trying to come out and be as aggressive as possible," Randle said.

The Cardinal went on a 24-2 tear midway through the second half to build a 64-30 lead.
