The Celtics are looking for more hockey assists and fewer home run, high risk passes to improve their scoring.

“We’re talking a lot about the hockey assist,” Doc Rivers said. “The problem is, I don’t think any of our guys understand hockey.” 

“You might have one home run play out of 10,” Allen said. “We just have to know that we have to take care of the ball and we have to make the simple play, the simple pass 90 percent of the time.”
