Brook Lopez followed up his 38-point game against Dallas with 28 in a loss at Boston.

Lopez would almost certainly be included in any deal the Nets make for Dwight Howard before the trade deadline.

“I do want to stay. It’s the only thing I’ve known and I’ve enjoyed my time here, no question,” said Lopez. “I’d definitely be relieved. No question. Like I said, I like being here. I like being a Net.”

One report this week suggested that Howard hopes to sign with the Nets outright this summer, which would allow the team to retain many of their assets.

“I don’t think there’s much more I can say. I enjoy being a Net and I like playing here,” Lopez said. “I control very little or absolutely nothing of it, other than what I do on the floor. So I’m going to do what I can and that’s it.”
