Casper Ware of Long Beach State has been named the Big West Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. Ware averaged 17.3 points during conference play, though that was down from a mark of 19.1 as a junior last season.

Ware is joined on the All-Big West First Team by teammates Larry Anderson and T.J. Robinson, Cal State Fullerton's D.J. Seeley, Phil Martin of UC Riverside and Orlando Johnson of UC Santa Barbara.

Robinson was also named Defensive Player of the Year, while Seeley was honored as Best Newcomer.

On the All-Big West Second Team is Omondi Amoke and Kwame Vaughn of Cal State Fullerton, David Hanson of Cal Poly, Eugene Phelps of Long Beach State, Mike Wilder of UC Irvine and James Nunnally of UC Santa Barbara.

Receiving Honorable Mention votes are Orane Chin and Isiah Umipig of Cal State Fullerton, Josh Greene and Stephan Hicks of Cal State Northridge, Travis Fulton and Ross Rivera of Pacific, James Ennis of Long Beach State and Daman Starring of UC Irvine.

Rivera was also named Best Sixth Man and Hicks won Freshman of the Year.

Adam Folker received recognition with the Best Hustle Award.
