Indiana extended a scholarship offer on Sunday to Bryant Crawford, a 6-foot-2 sophomore who is considered one of the top point guard talents in the country.

Crawford took an unofficial visit to Bloomington this weekend.

“I got offered by coach (Tom) Crean before I left,” Crawford said. “It was a good feeling. He asked me if I liked the visit and then he asked me if I was being recruited by any other schools in the top five and I said no. And then he told me that I’d just been offered by Indiana.”

Crawford now has offers from Indiana, Georgetown, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Texas and South Florida.

“They’re recruiting me hard,” Craword said of the Hoosiers. “Coach Crean and I have a nice relationship. We’ve talked a lot. He said he’s going to keep looking into me during the basketball season and AAU season. I liked it (the visit) a lot. I liked the campus, the students and the way the players work so hard.”
