Karl Towns Jr., a 6-foot-11 center who is considered the top player in the 2015 class, has received a scholarship offer from Kentucky.

Towns was coached by John Calipari this past summer when he played on the Dominican Republic National Team.

“It was a just great feeling,” Towns said. “The whole staff liked what they saw with me with the Dominican team even though they just wanted to see what I can do. Kentucky is definitely a program that can make me the best player I can be.”

Towns has offers from Florida, Kentucky, Baylor, Rutgers, Seton Hall, St. John’s, Syracuse, UConn, and N.C State, among others.
