Raptors Acquire Rudy Gay In Three-Team Trade
The Toronto Raptors have acquired Rudy Gay in a three-team trade involving the Memphis Grizzlies and Detroit Pistons.
The Raptors sent Jose Calderon, who went to the Pistons, along with Ed Davis and a second round pick to the Grizzlies.
Memphis acquired Davis, along with Tayshaun Prince and Austin Daye.
Gay had been with the Grizzlies since his rookie season in 2006-07, while Prince and Calderon also had spent their entire careers with their respective teams.
The Raptors also acquired Hamed Haddadi, but a buyout and waiver is expected.
