The Phoenix Suns will not make a decision on interim coach Lindsey Hunter’s future until after this season.

“We said all along we’re going to wait until the end of the year to assess the full body of work, and that’s what we’re going to do,” Suns president of basketball operations Lon Babby said.

Hunter, 40, is fine with not knowing his status beyond the final 13 games this season.

“The least of my worries is that,” he said. “I would not even want to talk about that right now. I’ve got bigger things to do. I’ve got a lot to handle.”

The Suns have lost 7 of their last 10 games, and at 23-46 are tied with the New Orleans Hornets for the worst record in the Western Conference.
