Kurt Thomas would listen to interest from NBA teams and is aiming to make a return with a contending organization, according to agent Jerry Hicks.

Thomas, who is recovering from a stress fracture injury, will not consider returning to the New York Knicks.

“If the right call comes, he’d come back,’’ Hicks said. “He’d only play for a club that has a legitimate chance at winning a championship. Not the Knicks, I can tell you that.

“He’s working out five days a week, keeping in excellent shape. His foot is 100 percent healed, has been for months. He hasn’t announced his retirement.’ We’re not calling teams. We’re not doing it that way. But if a team calls us interested in Kurt, he’d listen.’’

Thomas has played 18 NBA seasons.
