The Cleveland Cavaliers worked their magic once again on Tuesday night, earning the first overall pick in the lottery for the second-straight year.

"It was incredible. When Cleveland didn't pop up at nine, I knew obviously we had moved up and I had to gather myself for a second," David Griffin said. "Just a remarkable feeling."

Cleveland selected Anthony Bennett first overall last season, a selection which raised some eyebrows. This year they'll have to decide between a handful of prospects that have been hyped for the past several months.

"I don't think there's a clear cut number one pick in most drafts," Griffin said. "I think when people say that they have a really strong feeling for one player over another but there's not necessarily a consensus in most drafts."

Griffin added that the Cavaliers plan to select a player that best fits their roster, not necessarily the best player available.

"I think we're very open-minded," he said. "We will try to get radically better, much quicker. We really feel like there's a sense of urgency in improving our team as a whole and we're going to look for the right fit and we're very open-minded to what that really means."

The Cavaliers finished 33-49, missing the playoffs by five games.
