Robert Pera and Dave Joerger have patched up their relationship in order for the latter to continue as head coach of the Memphis Grizzlies.

Sources say that that the beginning of the Pera-Joerger problems dates back to September when Pera challenged Tony Allen to a game of one-on-one. Allen accepted the challenge but ultimately lost interest. Sources say Joerger didn't like the idea of the game and Pera directed his anger toward him and directed upper management to fire him.

Said a source familiar with the situation, "He absolutely wanted Dave out."

Pera flew to Memphis to meet with players after the Grizzlies then began the season 2-3. Pera brought up the idea of Joerger wearing an NFL-style headset to take instructions on the sideline.
