Free agent rookie C.J. Fair of Syracuse has received a training camp invitation from the Indiana Pacers and will sign a non-guaranteed contract with the franchise, league sources told RealGM.

After four collegiate seasons, Fair went undrafted in June and played for the Dallas Mavericks in the Las Vegas summer league. The 6-foot-8 forward averaged four points and 2.6 rebounds in five games for Dallas’ entry – including a vicious left-handed dunk on the Toronto Raptors.

Fair, 22, scored 16.5 points per game as a senior for Syracuse.
