Derrick Rose will undergo surgery after an MRI revealed medial meniscus tear in his right knee.
Rose was experiencing pain in the knee, which is the same knee that suffered a torn meniscus last season.
Rose appeared in 46 games this season for the Chicago Bulls, averaging 31.0 minutes per game after missing 72 in 13-14.
During the 2012 NBA Playoffs, Rose tore the ACL in his left knee.
