Isiah Thomas insists he has had no conversations with James Dolan about taking over the New York Knicks or helping Phil Jackson in the present.

“There’s been no discussions about that – zero," said Thomas.

Thomas was named president of the WNBA's New York Liberty.

Thomas denied that running the Knicks again as his "end game."

“I don’t have an end game, there’s no agenda,’’ Thomas said to Dan Patrick. “My thing is basketball. I don’t think anyone of us will now where we’ll be 5, 10 years from now. I don’t have an end game. I hope the end game is we’re all involved in sports and make a living off the game.

“We never get to write the ending. We can only live our life. I just know where I’m at now with the Liberty.’’

Phil Jackson's first season with the Knicks resulted in a 17-65 record.

“My relationship with Phil has always been great and respectful,’’ Thomas told WFAN. “I have great respect for Phil Jackson as well as everyone else here. He’s accomplished, he knows what he’s doing and he’s a great basketball mind. I think everyone should be happy that he’s there.”
