Under Armour has agreed to a deal with the NBA to become the presenting partner of the league's youth basketball program and will also be the title partner of the NBA Draft Combine.

“It’s a huge deal and we couldn’t be more excited about it as we continue to build our brand and our business around the sport of basketball,” said Adam Peake, Executive Vice President, Global Marketing, Under Armour.

As the title partner of the NBA Draft Combine — an invite-only showcase of the top expected draft picks — beginning in 2018, Under Armour will develop a retail line of apparel for fans.

“It’s the biggest job interview of their life,” Peake said of the Draft Combine. “If we can play a part in that by providing them the best gear even if it gives them the slightest edge … that’s what we feel what our part is in this.”
