The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed center Sasha Kaun to a contract.

Kaun (6-11, 250) spent the last six seasons with CSKA Moscow where he was a five-time Russian League champion (2009-2013), five-time VTB United League champion (2010, 2012-2015) and 2010 Russian Cup winner. Over his career with the team, he appeared in 142 games (94 starts) with averages of 7.6 points on .702 shooting from the field and 3.6 rebounds in 17.9 minutes per game. Last year with the club, he played in 30 games (all starts) and averaged a career-high 9.9 points on .691 shooting from the field and 4.5 rebounds in 20.1 minutes per game.

ESPN's Brian Windhorst reports it is a two-year, $2.6 million deal and the Cavaliers used the last $1.2 million of their taxpayer mid-level.
