The San Francisco Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to give the Golden State Warriors approval to move forward with their plans to build a new arena.

Opponents of the arena claimed it would conflict with the recently constructed University of California at San Francisco Medical Center.

Members of the UCSF community, concerned parents of UCSF patients and Mission Bay residents spoke in favor of the appeal, arguing that noise pollution and traffic are already problems on game days at AT&T Park.
