The New York Knicks and Jamal Crawford have mutual interest in free agency this offseason. The Knicks are on the market for a shooting guard and he can play either position albeit usually in a reserve role.

Crawford was traded to the Knicks in 2004 from the Chicago Bulls and remained with the team until he was dealt in 2008 to the Golden State Warriors as they tried to clear cap space for the 2010 free agent class.

"I'm not talking about any one team but everyone knows how I feel about New York," Crawford told The News. "I really enjoyed my time there."

Crawford was the 6th Man of the Year at the age of 36 this past season.

The Los Angeles Clippers own Crawford's Bird Rights and have expressed a desire to re-sign him.
