The Dallas Mavericks intend to sign Harrison Barnes to a four-year max offer sheet worth $95 million on July 7th when the moratorium is lifted.

The Mavericks realize Barnes will likely only be available to them if Kevin Durant chooses to sign with the Golden State Warriors but are prepared to tie up their cap space regardless.

Barnes turned down a reported extension totaling $64 million before the 2015-16 season.

Barnes would give Dallas youth and athleticism at either forward spot.
